Buying Semi-Valuable AND Rare old books

We buy collections, boxes of and individual used old books. This service is ideal if you are moving or selling the items of an estate, or just have a collection of old books in the basement or attic that you want to get rid of and get some cash for. We pay relatively well, depending on the quality and quantity. An example might be $50 or $100 for a box of 10-15 books for several boxes of books at a time, but it can be more or less after we make an estimate. It is best if you can take a picture of the books with the spine showing legibly or the cover and title/copyright page. For individual books, offers can also be made with an explanation of the value. 

Types of books that are preferred are generally hardcover: pre-1970, antique, specialty leather-bound, coffee table books, textbooks, small/light sets of not more than 10-15 books. If you have a large collection, we can also sort through them and make an offer on the ones we like.

Payment is typically by cash but can also be PayPal or Venmo. We can pick them out or you can put the books in boxes and they will be picked up at your home, which can be convenient such as on the porch or in the garage. If you are willing to ship them to us, arrangements can also be made and we will cover shipping costs by UPS, FedEx (bulk rate), or USPS Media Mail.
